Nell war für mich die Erfüllung eines langen Traumes. Mein erster Irish Wolfhound. Mit ihr begann eine Leidenschaft für diese Rasse, die bis heute anhält. Sie verkörperte all das, was man sich als Neubesitzer dieser Rasse nur wünschen kann. Eine gute Anatomie, ein super schönes Gangwerk und das so wolfhoundtypische Wesen. Sie starb mit fast neun Jahren und war bis zum letzten Tag die unangefochtene Chefin des Rudels.
Wenn man einen Wolfhound so lange immer um sich hat entsteht eine besondere Beziehung zu ihnen. Sie entwickeln Eigenarten, die man belustigt in Kauf nimmt. Aber sie werden auch zu einem Kameraden, den man nie missen möchte.
Nell was the fullfilling of a dream which I had for a long time. My first Irish Wolfhound. A still going on obsession for this breed began. She had everything you could wish for. Nice outline, wonderful movement and the typical Wolfhound temperament. She died being nearly nine years old and was still the leader of her pack. If you have had a wolfhound for such a long time, there is a special relationship between you and your dog. You laugh about their peculiarity and have a companion you never want miss.
